Child Safety Standards

1. Purpose and scope
mootiq, operated by Sandra Petersen, is an adults-only social connection and dating service. These standards apply to all users, content, profiles, messages, WildCards and features of the Mootiq app, website and web shop.
2. Adults only
mootiq may only be used by persons aged 18 or older. Anyone under 18 is prohibited from creating an account or using the service. Accounts of persons we know or reasonably suspect to be under 18 are suspended and removed.
3. Zero tolerance for CSAE and CSAM
mootiq strictly prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including:

child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind, including AI-generated or manipulated depictions

grooming, sexualised contact with or solicitation of minors

sextortion and any attempt to obtain sexual content from minors

sharing, requesting, advertising or linking to such content

sexualising minors in profile photos, texts, usernames or messages
Violations lead to immediate and permanent removal of the account and content, without prior warning.
4. Reporting inside the app
Users can report messages directly in the app ("Report" function) and select a reason (e.g. harassment, hate, spam or other). Reports concerning minors or child safety can be submitted under "Other" or sent directly to our child safety contact: safety@mootiq.de. Users can also block other users at any time.
5. How we handle reports

Receipt: Reports are reviewed by the mootiq team via our admin system.

Immediate measures: Where necessary, the reported account and content are restricted or removed..

Review: A trained team member reviews the case, normally within 24 hours (child safety reports take priority over all other reports).

Action: Confirmed violations lead to permanent account removal, deletion of the content from public access, and blocking of the associated device/email/payment identifiers where technically possible. Evidence is preserved securely as required by law.

Reporting to authorities: Confirmed or reasonably suspected CSAM/CSAE is reported to the competent authorities and/or the relevant national reporting body (e.g. NCMEC in the US, or the competent law enforcement authorities in Germany/EU), as required by applicable law. We do not inform the affected account holder if this could compromise an investigation.

Follow-up: Cases are documented, and the reporting person is informed that the report was handled, where legally possible.

7. Legal compliance
mootiq complies with all applicable child safety laws and regulations, including the EU Digital Services Act and German child protection and criminal law, and cooperates with law enforcement.
8. Child safety contact
Kinderschutz bei mootiq
mootiq ist ein Dienst ausschließlich für Personen ab 18 Jahren. Wir dulden keinerlei sexuellen Missbrauch oder sexuelle Ausbeutung von Kindern (CSAE) und keine Darstellungen sexuellen Kindesmissbrauchs (CSAM). Dazu zählen auch KI-generierte oder manipulierte Inhalte, Grooming und der Versuch, sexuelle Inhalte von Minderjährigen zu erhalten.
Nutzerinnen und Nutzer können Profile, Nachrichten und Verbindungen direkt in der App melden, auch mit der Kategorie „Kinderschutz / Minderjährige beteiligt“. Meldungen zum Kinderschutz werden vorrangig geprüft. Betroffene Konten und Inhalte werden bis zur Klärung eingeschränkt, bestätigte Verstöße führen zur dauerhaften Sperrung. Bei begründetem Verdacht arbeiten wir mit den zuständigen Behörden zusammen und erfüllen unsere gesetzlichen Melde- und Aufbewahrungspflichten.
